Re: EASYCOM for PHP: Unregistered License.

You will need to purchase a license if you are using the i5_toolkit functions. Another option is to look at the IBM Free XMLSERVICE toolkit and recoding all of the calls to meet the requirements. If you need licensing in North America you can contact us for pricing, otherwise contact Aura using the ...

Re: PHP Java Bridge Setup

Jim java_require('c:/program files/zend/zendserver/bin/myWebTest.jar'); try java_require('c:/program files/zend/zendserver/bin/MyWebTest.jar'); Sorry ignore the above, I see you named the class MyWebTest but the jar is in fact called myWebTest.jar.. Re: Empty string inserted into varchar field fills with blan

The above post looks wrong because the string of 10 characters was truncated by BB. It should be a pair of " with 10 spaces in between.

Re: Empty string inserted into varchar field fills with blan

erich,

I have not tried it so I am not sure, I would have though that "$data array(' ');" would provide an array with its elements set to blanks. $data = " "; is a NULL terminated array of 10 blanks? That is what I would do if I was trying to carry out the same operation in C.

Re: ZendCore and ZendServer CE Config Files

The problem as with many installations on the IBM i is that people use the Zend directories for mapping the websites. You should look at the Apache directives and set up a server with a Virtual Host. I have all my sites running under a single webserver which is not in the Zend directory structure an...

Re: Connect to iSeries from Linux

I am using the i5 toolkit by Easycom for connecting from Linux to IBM i. The ability to set the library lists and use the IBM i naming convention is already built in.
