Re: ZS 13 crashes on git perspective

I suggest that we try some blind shots that may improve the situation for you. Let's first try switching Zend Studio from GTK 2 to GTK 3. We force GTK 2 by default for Zend Studio because of known issues with GTK 3. However, in your case it may be better to have some glitches in the UI instead of c...

Re: Installing Zend Server 8.5 on Ubuntu 14.04

You were right, Ubuntu was trying to automatically install libapache2-mod-php5filter (along with a few others, failing that). In order to overcome these dependency issues, it was necessary to run: apt-get remove libapache2-mod-php5 libapache2-mod-php5filter php5-cgi php5-fpm prior to installing Zend...

Re: ZS 13 crashes on git perspective

ZS 13 crashes every single time I try to execute the Git workflow.

There are no log files matching that pattern ('hs_err_*.log') on my system; however, I have attached the archive generated by Support Tool.

Cheers

Installing Zend Server 8.5 on Ubuntu 14.04

I tried following the instructions for Installing Zend Server with Apache (Automatically Installing Zend Server) given at http://files.zend.com/help/Zend-Server/content/deb_installing_zend_server.htm. On the first attempt, I was shown the following message: dpkg-query: no packages found matching *ze...

ZS 13 crashes on git perspective

I have installed Zend Studio 13.0 on Ubuntu 14.04 (64-bit); and, when attempting to clone my git repositories, ZS crashes without explanation. Procedure: Window -> Perspective -> Open Perspective -> Other... Choose "Git" from the list, click OK Click "Clone a Git repository" in the main window The G...

Filtering request parameters

Example URI: http://example.com/en/user?id="><script>alert(document.cookie)</script> I generally use HTMLPurifier for cleaning up input; however, in this case, it leaves behind the orphaned quote/angle bracket (albeit encoded as ">). This is obviously not ideal, so if there are any recommended solut...

Auto completion in ZS 7.1.0

When working on a Zend Framework-powered project, I get no useful auto complete hints. Example: in a controller class, I type '$this->' and instead of being shown a list of all the properties and methods available via Zend Framework (getFrontController(), redirect(), etc) I get... nothing. I have ad...

Re: Eclipse: The failed project!

Unfortunately I have to agree. I've been using Zend Studio since version 4 -- originally on Windows and now on OS X -- and, prior to Eclipse, it was great. However, since ZS moved to the Eclipse platform, I've had problems with database connectivity, debugging, testing (PHPUnit), and code assist to ...

Re: Anybody got svn+ssh working?

Brilliant ! thanks for your post, it's good to know I should be able to get it working. I need a little further help though as I was not trying the same method as you and I am a little unfamiliar with the set up you explain. I'm using Putty on a windows machine for ssh, are you on a windows box or ...

Re: ZS 7.0.1 and PHPUnit

2. No. Since PHPUnit is built in to ZS, I assumed the latter would handle path resolutions for it. It is built in but you need to include it so the PHPUnit test case will be recognized. Right-click on the project and select PHP include path, add the PHPUnit library. Roy I right-clicked on the proje...
