Re: 4.0.6 not working correctly (Snow Leopard)

You'll have to create a symlink from the existing mysql.sock file to the expected location. ln -s /usr/local/zend/mysql/tmp/mysql.sock /tmp/mysql.sock Bernd That would break the existing OS X MySQL installation though? I reverted to 4.0.5 for the moment since I need a working installation so I can'...

4.0.6 not working correctly (Snow Leopard)

Upgraded from 4.0.5 to 4.0.6 today and all my sites using Zend Framework and Zend_Db broke. I'm getting a Zend_Db_Adapter_Exception: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) error. Seems it doesn't use Zend Server's MySQL socket even though it i...

Re: Where do i find the ZF Files in the ZendServer install?

On Mac (and I'm guessing Linux as well): /usr/local/zend/share/ZendFramework/library An alternative is to put a symlink pointing to the library in your project. Re: Zend Server CE and Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)

Snow Leopard is out today, and yeah, I'm having the same problems. I can't access the admin interface but the server is running. Hopefully this will be fixed soon!

Php 5.3

Hello,

Just wondering when Zend Server CE will update Php to version 5.3? I heard ZF 1.9 will be fully Php 5.3 compatible, and it's supposed to be released this week. I noticed there is a Zend Server Early Access edition available, but only for the Linux platform. What's the word on this?

Re: Mac Zend Server CE - is there anything working?

I think the Mac client is awsome, and for the same reasons that you mention! 1. The installation belongs in /usr/local/. Stick with Unix standards on a Unix based system. And of course you can access the files. If you want to open them with Finder, click Go->Go to folder (Shift+Command+G) and type /...

Thanks for adding it. And many thanks for the instructions on how to fix it in the meantime.
