Moving to Zend Server from Zendcore

We have been "asked" by our auditors to move to a newer version of PHP. We are currently running Zendcore, so it looks like the best path is to install Zend Server and move things to there. I am uncertain how much must be upgraded and what can be used from the Zendcore install. Do we need to upgrade...

Re: 5250 Bridge Testing- Error on SBMJOB

Thank you for the suggestions. I found a couple of things. The primary error was that we have changed some command defaults for the SBMJOB command. These caused a problem when the user NOBODY tried to use the SBMJOB command. We were able to work around those. The other problem is that we do not use ...

Re: <server>:89/ZendCore Access Lost (Resolved)

Problem resolved. I restored the configuration file- /www/zendcore/conf/httpd.conf and then reapplied the changes that been made to require an i5 logon screen for accessing Zend Core. Access to the Admin Console is back. My guess is that the Proxy statements that were added, and that actually did ma...

Re: <server>:89/ZendCore Access Lost

Thanks. I went through your list of things to check. I checked logs, user spooled files, CHKPRDOPT, authorities, and the config file. No additional information found. I also opened up a problem with Support to look at the config file. They had me do a trace and looked at that. I was told that the ap...

Re: <server>:89/ZendCore Access Lost

Sorry, I must have truncated the error message when I cut and pasted in the post. It is the same result as it was. It is also the error I get when I chose the first option from the welcome.html page (Zend core for i5/os user interface).

<server>:89/ZendCore Access Lost

After installing Zend Core for i5/OS a few weeks ago and doing the initial configuration, we didn't use the Administration console for a while. When we determined that we had some changes to make, we found that we cold no longer open up the console. The message logged in the error_log is : ZSRV_MSG0...
