Re: db2_fetch_row, db2_result

As the documentation for db2_fetch_row() says, "most applications will call one of db2_fetch_assoc(), db2_fetch_both(), or db2_fetch_array() to advance the result set pointer and return a complete row as an array" Unless there's a specific reason you're using db2_result(), you might as well just use...

Re: Failure to AutoStart Zend Server on i

Can you elaborate on what this does exactly ? what's Prngd ? That's an answer to why PRNGD is not starting in Zend Server. You're asking how to get Zend Core to automatically start in the Zend Server forum. I think you'll need to use Erich's instructions but use the Zend Core equivalents. PRNGD is ...

Re: SOAP client problem, call via HTTPS

I imagine it needs to be configured in the iSeries, and not Apache. Look for documentation on IBM's Digital Certificate Manager.

Re: pear on Zend Server

Yeah, I experience that when using PEAR with a non *SECOFR account.

This will work for me though.

Code: Select all

pear help 2>&1 | cat
I have the same gibberish issue with the PHING package as well, but even the unix hack above doesn't fix it.

Re: SOAP client problem, call via HTTPS

The result is that there is no response at all anymore, not even an error message... Well, you've gotten further. Sounds like it works. I'd have to see your code or have more information to go on to help. What happens when you try calling a SOAP method? That should give a SOAP error. Perhaps the WS...

thomasrauers wrote:Thanks Aaron, but starting the PRNGD job (via ZSMENU) does not make any difference, same error message as before.
After starting PRNGD, make sure it is actually running (in the Zend Server subsystem) and that there wasn't a problem. When it is, then be sure to restart Apache.

Re: How to get baseUrl in zend???

You more likely want to run Zend_Form::setAction() from your controller, since the controller has access to the request object, which has the basePath or baseUrl. class MyController extends Zend_Controller_Action { .. public function myAction() { $action = 'my/form' $form = new My_Form; $url = $this...

Re: Migrate ZendServer httpd.conf to existing Apache

Sounds like you just want to set up a ProxyPass on the Web server running on port 80, and have it send requests to the Zend Server on the non-standard port.
