Re: Setting up ZS on Win7 machine with localhost

I can report that this is also happening trying to set up a remote project. I have set up an ftp connection and that finds all of the files on the remote lpar, however when it tries to write the project filename into the ifs folder it reports a read only error. Zend studio ver 9.04, IBM i OS V6R1. W...

Re: db2_fetch_row fails ... no idea why?

So new question - does anyone know a way using SQL to convert the CCSID as part of the select statement. I did try db2_fetch_array also but no luck. Eureka! This does it ... :o) CAST(bkhgrp AS CHAR(10) CCSID 37) as goat $SQL = "select distinct CAST(bkhgrp AS CHAR(10) CCSID 37) as goat from qusrbrm/q...

Re: db2_fetch_row fails ... no idea why?

*GROAN*

The BRMS file has CCSID 65535, whereas the file in part1 has a CCSID of 37.

it does NOT report any error on the 65535 thing which is damn vexing ...

db2_fetch_row fails ... no idea why?

I have a PHP script which has two parts, both parts use SQL to retrieve data from tables on the same LPAR. Part 1 works, Part 2 does not return a valid array/row which is somewhat vexing. As they use the same connection then it stands to reason that the database (lpar name), userid (blank), password...

Re: ENDTCPSVR does not end ZENDSVR6

Still don't know why this happens as it is an infrequent occurrance, but enough (weekly or so) that it is a pain.

FYI work around used was doing this after the endtcpsvr command ...

TAATOOL/ENDACTJOB JOB(ZENDSVR6) USER(QTMHHTTP) OPTION(*IMMED)

ugly as but effective ...

ENDTCPSVR does not end ZENDSVR6

Hi, an odd issue here.

When we use the ENDTCPSVR SERVER(*HTTP) HTTPSVR(ZENDSVR6) we get the messge
HTTP server ended.
, however it does NOT end the server.

Which is somewhat annoying ... has anyone seen this or know why this is happening?

Re: ClCommand issue

Thanks Scott - nice to know I'm not alone in this. I'll see if I can think of a way to do it differently.

DB2 works how i need, I can repoint it to any lpar and fire off an sql to get data from a file on that target lpar, but the xtoolkit seems locked down somehow.

:o)

Re: ClCommand issue

This is basically the code portion ... $options = array('i5_naming'=>DB2_I5_NAMING_ON,'autocommit'=>DB2_AUTOCOMMIT_ON); $splf_db = db2_connect($db, $ReqUsr, $ReqPwd, $options); try { $splf_tkso = ToolkitService::getInstance($db, $DB2Usr, $DB2Pwd); } catch (Exception $e) { echo $e->getMessage(), "\n"...

Re: ClCommand issue

Hi Scott, Short answer is that the log does not exist. There is a debug.log on lpar3, but it only has the following ... (this is on a failed attempt to any lpar excpet lpar3) Exec start: 2015-12-11 15:28:42 Version of toolkit front end: 1.5.0 IPC: '/tmp/'. Control key: *cdata *sbmjob(ZENDSVR6/ZSVR_J...

ClCommand issue

This is probably not something that should be done I know ... but I have a php page served up on lpar(3), depending on the data returned from input files on lpar(3) it will display options. Those options relate to lpars (1,2,3,4) and then when i click on the link I want to open a file on the target ...
