How to prevent Zend Deployment Daemon from automatically starting?

I opened a ticket with Zend because of "MCH" error codes being generated by the Zend Deployment Daemon. We never got to the bottom of it, but since I don't use the Zend Deployment features of Zend Server, they instructed me to just turn it off. The errors stopped, but now I have to remember to manua...

Can't respond to open tickets

I can't respond to any open tickets I have with Zend. I could not find a phone# or email address I could email to either respond to the ticket or explain my issue. Other than posting on the Rogue Wave forums this is my only option. Every time I attempt to add a note to my tickets I get a 502 error a...

Exception Join in Zend\Db 2.8.2 (DB2)

I can't seem to figure out how to create an exception join using Zend\Db?

Is the only way to use:

Code: Select all

$db->query('Select * from....')

Re: Unqualified Tables ignore i5_libl options

I finally solved this after opening a PMR with IBM. All I had to do was apply the latest Fix Pack for DB2 Connect Personal Edition. Suggested Fix Packs for DB2 Connect: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=71&uid=swg21321001 Basically the DB2 Connect version I had was released prior to 2013....

Re: Unqualified Tables ignore i5_libl options

So it looks like the 'i5_libl' option is not the only one being ignored. I've realized I can only qualify tables using a '.' and not a '/'. This indicates the 'i5_naming' setting being used is 'DB2_I5_NAMING_OFF ' despite passing in a value of 'DB2_I5_NAMING_ON'. What makes this confusing is that wh...

Re: Unqualified Tables ignore i5_libl options

Just adding to my question. I realized I may not have been entirely clear in my previous post. The PHP manual states "Unqualified files are resolved using the library list for the job." when i5_naming is enabled. This isn't happening as I am enabling i5_naming as part of my connection. It currently ...

Unqualified Tables ignore i5_libl options

I'm trying to configure a local development workstation to connect to a remote IBM i DB2 server. I'm using IBM Data Server Client in conjunction with Zend Server trial (8.5.7), PHP (5.6.30) on Windows 10. I've cataloged the nodes and database in the DB2 command window and can successfully connect to...

Re: IBM i DB2 access from Local Wamp Stack

I have some answers. JDBC and ODBC support is free and it is typically shipped with other IBM software. This doesn't help in regards to db2_* functions in PHP. If your DB2 database is on an IBM i or even Z/OS then the only way to do this is with DB2 Connect. There are a few different versions, but f...

IBM i DB2 access from Local Wamp Stack

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this since I'm not using Zend Server on my local. But, I figured it's a PHP question having to do with the ibm_db2 driver and there would likely be individuals who are familiar with both here. I'm trying to connect to an IBM i DB2 server from a local PC ...
