Re: Connection problem

I received this response from Zend by e-mail: Hello Mike, We typically see two permissions issues with Basic Authentication, when the users do not have *ALLOBJ special authority. One is no permissions for the FastCGI socket file (this is the message you are seeing), the other is for permissions to t...

Re: Connection problem

Unfortunately, we do not have a contract with Zend. The support person told me on the phone this morning that Zend does not support the free version that we have been using. He suggested trying the forums.

Re: Connection problem

I tried changing the permissions on all of those folders to RWX, but it did not help. As I wrote in the first post, the object that generates the error is /usr/local/ZendSvr/bin/php-cgi.bin.

Re: Connection problem

I granted *ALLOBJ authority. The user could access the application. I then removed the authority. The error occurred.

Re: Connection problem

I do not want to give the user *ALLOBJ authority, but other users that do have this authority can access the application without this problem.

usr, local, zendsvr, and bin have RX authority for (public). usr has a share on it.

Re: Connection problem

Sorry. The Apache server protects all of the objects in htdocs, which is where all of the scripts and images reside, with basic authentication. Here is the directive: 52 <Directory /www/zendsvr/htdocs> 53 Options FollowSymLinks 54 order allow, deny 55 Allow from all 56 Require valid-user 57 AllowOver...

Connection problem

This application has been running for a while, but a new user who does not have *ALLOBJ authority is receiving the following error when attempting to access it: Can not connect() to /usr/local/ZendSvr/bin/php-cgi.bin (0.0) - [3401] Permission denied. This object has rwx authority for (public). Can s...

Re: css link

Well, I see css entries in /Zendcore/doc, but I cannot find this folder. It does not seem to be in the root drive of the IFS. Does anyone know where it is?

Re: css link

I checked the access log. When I run the php page, the log has this one entry:
"GET /dev1/protected/testcal.php HTTP/1.1" 200 525

Is this significant?

When I run the html page, no entry is created.
