ulimit error on zendctl.sh start

Just an fyi, not sure if it hurts anything. Starting ZendServer 4.0.0 .. /Applications/ZendServer/bin/apachectl: line 84: ulimit: open files: cannot modify limit: Invalid argument httpd (pid 16359) already running /Applications/ZendServer/bin/apachectl start [OK] spawn-fcgi.c.251: socket is already ...

SOLVED: install phpMyAdmin-3.1.3.1-all-languages on mac os x

I installed phpmyadmin, set the socket location, and added a blowfish string, and can login fine, but I get the following warning: The mbstring PHP extension was not found and you seem to be using a multibyte charset. Without the mbstring extension phpMyAdmin is unable to split strings correctly and...

SOLVED: changing port to 80 breaks zend backend on mac os x

The install went great, and the first thing I did was go and change httpd.conf to listen to port 80 instead of 10088. Opened localhost, and all looked good, however then I couldn't get to the zend backend admin interface on port 10081. Is there another file I needed to edit?

thanks,
Danny

Re: [REQUEST] Mac OS X Version

I too would like to see the full zend server created for development purposes. The monitoring would be a big help, then you would not have to change the parameters for production.

thanks,
Danny

feature request: custom filed to add additional logs

It would be nice to add a menu where the user could add additional logs to monitor, such as the mysql.log, syslog, and mail.err, mail.info, etc. It would then become a one stop monitoring tool. This could be down the road as it is not a show stopper, just something that would be nice.

thanks,
Danny

server config to use php mail()?

Do I need to edit anything on a debian lenny install from deb files to get the standard php mail() command to work? I can use mailx from the command line, and postfix is sending it ok, so I suspect there must be something in php.ini that needs to be changed. EDIT: I have ran a tail on /var/log/mail....

Open phpMyAdmin from Framework Menu

The Zend Server Beta2 Framework->Open phpMyAdmin menu appears to only work if you are on the local machine (localhost). I understand the security issues of plan text password, is there any to add additional security features to allow it remotely? I am running this on a debian lenny server, without X...
