Re: Using Zend Framework to connect to i5/OS

I actually got it to connect. I removed the port and it just worked. But my issue now is that since the Job is ran under the NOBODY profile I can't connect to the DB2 as another user. I get the following error: SQLSTATE=42977, SQLConnect: -7022 User TESTUSER not the same as current user NOBODY. I tr...

Using Zend Framework to connect to i5/OS

I have Zend Core running on my i5/OS. I'm trying to create an application on the i5 using the Zend Framework and its Zend_Db classes. In my config file i tried this: [development : production] database.adapter = "DB2" database.params.host = "HOSTNAME" database.params.dbname = "DBNAME" database.param...

Re: ODBC error: Token EXEC was not valid. Zend_Db_Adapter

My second issue is that the database i'm working on doesnt have primary keys explicitly set on the database (DB2 UDB). So i get the following error: A table must have a primary key, but none was found Stack trace: #0 trunk\library\Zend\Db\Table\Abstract.php(846): Zend_Db_Table_Abstract->_setupPrimar...

Re: Data Source Explorer - Do you use it with your i5?

The connection isn't the problem. I'm just curious if others are using the Data Source Explorer, and why it doesn't appear to be able to : 1. Select a Connection Type of DB2 UDB iSeries_V5R4 (this probably doesn't matter but you never know) 2. Execute any query (SELECT, INSERT, DELETE) with an expli...

Data Source Explorer - Do you use it with your i5?

I was wondering if anyone uses the Data Source Explorer in the ZSE i5 Edition. I noticed that in the Connection Profile there is no Connection Type of DB2 UDB iSeries_V5R4. So i have it set to DB2 UDB iSeries_V5R3 and i think it will still work. Does anyone know where to execute a select query. I tr...
