Re: Toolkit/Server Looping Issue

Check the Apache access and error logs to see if the page is being repeatedly requested by a browser, or perhaps a 408 error reaching the browser.

Re: Calling php-cli from a CL program

Interesting idea. This way you don't have to null-terminate many separate parameters.

Re: cpc2206

I'll just tell you. Try this "test" version of the PHP Toolkit, 1.6.1. It has a fix for cpc2206 and will also finish reading a list of spool files much faster than 1.5.0 did when using i5_spool_list (CW). http://www.youngiprofessionals.com/wiki/index.php/XMLSERVICE/PHPToolkitTesting and look for: *N...

Re: cpc2206

If the extra spool file gets created when you use i5_spool_list() then I know of a fix. Let me know.

Re: zend_shm_cache_store from iSeries BATCH job

I don't have an exact answer except that PHP-CLI generally behaves more like pure PHP, whereas PHP running through Apache and Zend Server have special Zend Server features such as caching.

Re: Toolkit Error

No, that's just a generic error message left over from the early days when CCSID and PTFs were common "unidentifiable" errors (no longer true thanks to progress by Zend and IBM). Later toolkit versions improve the message, try to be more specific. It may be a problem with your connection, such as if...

Re: Upgrade From PHP 5.4 To 5.5 On Zendserver 6.1

You can't just flip a switch. The easiest path is to upgrade to a newer version of Zend Server and choose PHP 5.5+.

Re: trying to read a dataarea

"the changes to the code were not being uploaded automatically to the server"
I had that problem with older versions of Zend Studio. It's been better since version 10 or so. I use Zend Studio 12 now, which has been quite reliable for me.

Re: trying to read a dataarea

The message "undefined function i5CpfError()" means you have a problem reading this particular data area. (We'll have a better error message in the next toolkit version.) The issue is with the data area or possibly permissions to it, as Scott suggested. One thing: You forgot to set your connection m...
