Re: ServerUserID webserver conf directive does not work

jbissone,

Let's continue to research this.

Do you have the same problem if QTMHHTTP isn't the file's owner? What if the user profile specified by ServerUserId were the owner?

Re: ServerUserID webserver conf directive does not work

Great question. I think I know why Apache's ServerUserID directive doesn't work for PHP. PHP is executed by FastCGI, not Apache. Apache passes control to FastCGI. Therefore, perhaps the user profile needs to be set in fastcgi.conf or another FastCGI configuration area. Does anyone have information o...

Re: Server DB2 Connection to iSeries problem connecting

Hi, James, I haven't looked through all this code, but I have an idea. If you are trying to connect your PC using ibm_db2 to the IBM i using ibm_db2, you'll need IBM's "DB2 Connect" product: http://www-01.ibm.com/software/data/db2/db2connect/ Does that sound like what you are trying to do? Re: Zend Server and mail

It would be good if there were a "readme" file to alert us of any features missing in the beta. Otherwise we waste time trying features that aren't done yet. Overall I like Zend Server very much, so I'm thankful that Scott and i5zend brought this issue forward. I will wait before migrating any apps ...

Re: i5_connect

Eddie,

This error from the i5 Toolkit can occur when connecting to a second machine.

You can get a free license from Aura/Easycom that should solve this problem. Register at:
http://www.easycom-aura.com/en/registration_php.asp

Let us know if this solves the problem.

ibm_db2 extension is 1.6.6

Hi,

I looked into Tina's question about i5_libl's not working with Zend Server beta. Following Rod's idea, I looked at ibm_db2 and saw that it is version 1.6.6.

Since Zend Core already has 1.8.0, I assume that Server will also have 1.8.0 or higher when it goes GA.

Best,
Alan

Re: DB2 - library list

Hi, Tina,

To discover what version of ibm_db2 you have in Zend Server, go to:

Monitor, then Php Info

and scroll down to ibm_db2.

Re: DB2 - library list

Hi, Tina, You can use the fairly new 'i5_libl' option in the 'driver_options' parameter, as described here: http://php.net/manual/en/function.db2-pconnect.php, . (Thanks to Tony Cairns for telling me about this at ZendCon!) Below, I've built on the example that Mr./Ms. zend_i5 provided. Look at the ...
