Re: Problem using SQL function db2_fetch_array

Are you sure where it was created? Just wondering if this is a new install and you didn't specify where to create it (as no library was specified in the SQL) if it created in QGPL instead of GREGC? Message . . . . : GETDASHBOARD was created, changed, or dropped, but object not modified. Cause . . . ...

Re: ->GetSPLF Problem

You can also disable z-ray in that script, put a:

Code: Select all

zray_disable();
at the top of the script.

Re: Update multiple tables db2 store procedure

Never tried it but it looks like it should work: http://www.itjungle.com/fhg/fhg030806-story01.html Using triggers instead but the article indicates that stored procedures are possible, if DB2 has standard syntax (does for almost everything) then this might help: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1...

Re: how to authenticate users?

There are a lot of different ways to do this: Use QSYGETPH to validate username/password against a user profile (I use a stored procedure that calls RPG to do this) then store something in the session to indicate the user is logged in and check that session variable on each page. Use Basic authentic...

Re: Login Forever

"Forever" is a really long time and means different things to different people (and browsers :) ) Can you do this? Yes SHOULD you do this? Probably not, for many reasons - https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Session_Management_Cheat_Sheet If you require a login there is probably a reason (something to p...

Re: cpc2206

Could you do a CHGPRTF on the print file that is being used to change it to hold *YES or change the OUTQ to something that is easier to keep track of and clear daily until you can find the cause of the spoolfiles (possibly easier than moving everything else - unless it is QPRINT or something similar...

Re: ClCommand issue

Greg,

Yes I get the same thing, never tried accessing remote resources before. Maybe Alan or Tony have an example they can share for the details on how it should work.

Re: ClCommand issue

Check your toolkit debug log (/usr/local/zendsvr6/var/log/tkit_debug.log is the default) and see if there is anything in there. It would appear that your toolkit object wasn't working for some reason, it's null. Can you post any code? What do the links look like (are they all going to LPAR3)?

Re: Studio Connection To IBM i

I have a share setup to the root (/www/zendsvr6/htdocs/) and then have a drive mapped on my PC. For each sub-folder (I have a lot of different sites running) I create a project that has a linked folder to that location. That way any changes I make are immediately available to test. Probably not the ...

Re: PHP on AS400

Doesn't look like it is installed (you would see the zendsvr6 directory)

I'd suggest you download it from here:

http://www.zend.com/en/products/server/ ... ds#IBM%20i

And install.
