Re: Remote Debugger won't hit break points

There are various causes unfortunately. Here are some easy steps to check first: - Make sure the file you are debugging is inside the "PHP Include path" of your project (normally, the entire project you're working on should be there). - Open the settings from the Zend toolbar in your browser and hit...

Re: Endless DLTK Indexing...

There's an option "Build automaticly" under the Project-menu. It's checked by default, you can uncheck it to prevent the premature start of the indexing progress. You're right though. It would be good thing for the studio to give some kind of warning when it detects that an action like this is going...

Re: [REQ] Formatter suggestions

In that way you'd have to have different options for every binary operator (add, subtract, multiply, etc). Ofcourse it would be possible, but I doubt it would make anyone's life easier. You could submit it as a feature request and see if they're willing to consider it. I doubt it'll be high on the p...

Re: First impressions of Zend Studio 9

I know you don't want to hear this, but this is an incredible bad coding practice. Avoid it at all cost! I know you hate me right now, but you'll thank me later. If you don't have a choice in the matter, kick the people who have. Please elaborate what is bad practice and why? Storing the logged in ...

Re: [9.0] Can't create a project in a specific location

Ok, I've done some further testing and the odd thing is: if there's a (dummy) file present at that location (X:\a\b\c\dummy.txt), the "Import from SVN" and "PHP Project from existing directory" do work. The dummy-file is removed, but the export from SVN completes successfully. To be clear: if the lo...

Has anyone been able to check out an SVN project in the root of an existing (but empty) location?

Re: [ZS9] Fatal errors on startup

You're still using a workspace created with 7 if I'm reading this correctly. I think it's time to reset/clear your workspace. I know it's b#tch to have to set up everything over again. But no-one can upgrade forever, you'll have to start with a clean slate every once in a while. On the upside, it fo...

Re: [REQ] Formatter suggestions

The extra spaces can be removed by unchecking "before .." and "after binary operators". See your other thread for details. It's not the formatters job to force <?php over <?. I'd like to force a lot of things on our developers too ;), but you can't (and shouldn't) with the Formatter. You can use cod...

Re: First impressions of Zend Studio 9

Here are my first impressions of ZS9 from ZS8. Yeah, this sorta works. it works if you define it in the page, but it doesn't know obout this object if defined in another included file. $_SESSION['user'] = new CustomerUser(); $_SESSION['user']->email($to_email, $to_name, $from_email, $from_name, $su...

Re: Endless DLTK Indexing...

Hi, The (DLTK) indexing in ZS quite comprehensive and running it on over 100k files is really pushing it i guess. (100k+ files? really? Ok, thats not the point, i'll stop right here...) There are a few things you can try, and since you haven't specified what you've already done, I'll start with the ...
