Re: php-cgi monitoring

You can see the number of phpcgi processes, their performance, CPU, memory, etc in task manager. Also the performance monitor can give you good metrics. Zend Server 6.0 (currently in beta) has a new capability where it provides detailed statistics on the application execution and requests so you can...

Re: Zend Extension Manager error

There are a few crashes in the log and it looks like most of the crashes are during shutdown in one of the extensions. The extension manager logs the error but the crash seems to be inside libphp5 probably in one of the extensions.

Re: Zend Server without Zend Server

If the process crashes you should see the crash event in the event log. The event will show you the exception and the module that caused it.

Re: Having issues now with Terminal...

This looks like some crash in the terminal itself which is more of an OS issue or some change like permissions, files missing, resource contention, etc. There is a post in the mac forum about a similar issue http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1197937

Re: Zend Server 5.6 - Failed to load extension 'codetracing'

It could be some leftovers from an older version. If other Zend extensions loaded fine then its probably not a permissions issue with the extension directories. If it happens again we can have a look at it. In many cases there would be some error in one of the logs.

Re: Zend Server without Zend Server

It is not always simple (sometimes the stack or memory can be corrupted) but from the stack trace you can see which modules were called around the crash. If you see a specific extension in the call stack you can try disabling it to see if it helps or report the crash to the vendor (if its a Zend com...
