I just double checked and the password for my install was blank. Is it possible there is an older install on MySQL on the system? And I'm assuming we're talking about Windows here. So ... Yes we will update the MySQL package when new releases are available. For Linux we use the MySQL out of the Linu...

If you benchmark a specific application and have instructions for doing the benchmark feel free to post your results (good or bad). Also, take a look at the URL based caching of page output. For some applications and situations this can make a huge difference.

Ok I'm using CentOS 5.2 (FInal) with 2.6.18-92.1.22.el5 and httpd-2.2.3-11.el5_2.centos.4 and I don't have any such problems.
I may need to leave this one for the real technical people ....
