Re: Debugging in Studio with remote i5 - Possible?

It is very possible to debug in Studio with a Remote i5. Please be sure you are using the i5 edition of Studio, and then try following the instructions in the following article to get started: http://www.zend.com/support/knowledgeba ... iew_only=1

Re: APC on i5/os

PHP runs in the PASE environment on the i5. PASE allows AIX compiled binaries to run on i5/OS. To compile for PASE, there are two options. One is to compile on a machine running AIX. The other is to obtain the AIX compiler that runs on the i5 from IBM. You can learn more about compiling for PASE her...

Re: Using Zend Framework to connect to i5/OS

Re: $_SERVER['HTTPS']

Try using "ProxyPreserveHost on" in your reverse proxy server configuration. This should populate your server variables from the reverse proxy server, rather than the PASE Apache server. In file /www/zendcore/conf/httpd.conf find this: ProxyPass / http://127.0.0.1:8000/ ProxyPassReverse / http://127...

Re: PEAR and PECL Command

Zend R&D is aware of the issue. There is no date set for the fix to be released. In the meantime, they recommend using SSH via a terminal program such as PuTTY: 1. Download Putty client (http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html) [^] 2. Run Putty client in your Windows and ente...

Re: 5250 Bridge Timing

To add a delay to your script, try using usleep(): http://us2.php.net/usleep This will let you set the sleep time in microseconds. You can also consider setting a loop to check for the correct screen to be present, and sleep some fraction of a second during each iteration of the loop. The loop shoul...

Re: Viewing the IFS in 6.1.2?

At this time the OS400 ftp parser is not working correctly in Eclipse. There are three alternative methods that may be used to create a Remote Systems Explorer connection to an i5. SSH Method: The SSHD Daemon must be running on the i5 to make this connection. To run the SSHD daemon on i5/OS: * The u...
