Re: MYSQL_SOCKET change alone

Hello, In phpinfo()'s output, there should be: MYSQL_SOCKET which indicates the value for the socket as determined at compilation time. The default, if not other was found, is indeed /tmp/mysql.sock. However, there in the output there is also: mysql.default_socket which points to the value set at ru...

Re: Unable to run Zend Java Bridge

Hello, I see the problem :) From your output: [14.04.2010 06:43:55 SYSTEM] Executing: /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.15/bin Please look in /usr/local/zend/etc/watchdog-jb.ini, the zend_wd.process.java_daemon directive value should start with the JRE executable, according your output it has something ...

Re: Unable to run Zend Java Bridge

Hello,

JRE 1.6 should work fine, the question is what implementation are you using.
Also, I suggest you try:

Code: Select all

# /usr/local/zend/bin/java_bridge.sh --debug start
This can potentially give an indication of what might be causing the Java Bridge daemon not to start properly.

Re: Unable to run Zend Java Bridge

Hello, Zend's Java Bridge should work with both Sun's and IBM's JRE implementations, versions 1.5 and above. It does not work properly with GNU's implementation which many, if not all, Linux distros utilize by default. What JRE implementation and version did you configure Java Bridge against? Thanks,

Re: What about if LAMP is already installed?

Hello, Actually CE does not come with a bundled MySQL, if one wants to use MySQL, such a package is always available in any Linux distro, Ubuntu included. In regards to Apache, ZendServer utilizes the distro's Apache package. And so, if your LAMP stack also uses Ubuntu packages, the PHP package from...

Re: reset all events on Zend Server

Hello, The ability to remove Monitor events and Code Tracing dumps is being discussed and an implementation is scheduled for future releases. Monitor Events are stored in /usr/local/zend/var/db/monitor which is an SQLite3 DB. And so, until this feature is shipped, you can either remove the events of...

Re: Why is php-cli part of dev-zend-server?

Hello, The reason for PHP CLI [/usr/local/zend/bin/php] is included as part of the dev package is historical but you are right in your assertion that it really isn't dev related. Same can actually be said about PEAR and PECL as a matter of fact. I will reorganize package structure for these. Thank y...

Re: Snow Leopard

Hello, The Zend Loader [whose decoding functionality was previously provided by Zend Optimizer], is not yet available for PHP 5_3, since the Zend Guard [which does the encoding] is still pending a release that will support 5_3. I cannot commit to a date but we are currently working on it. Thanks for...
