Uncaught Exception on Zend Server 9 with Z-Ray

Post by jbgisser » Mon Mar 19, 2018 2:11 pm

Hello,

I have just installed Zend Server 9 on my Windows 10 computer at work and wanted to try Z-Ray for debugging. (Debugging is so frustrating since the Firefox plugin stopped working).

I am getting the "Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'Serialization of 'Closure' is not allowed' error that seems to have plagued Z-Ray for quite some time.

Is there a fix coming for this?

Is there something I can do at my end to fix it?

PHP Version 7.0.15
Zend Server Version: 9.0.2
Zend Framework: 1.12.20, 2.4.9
Build: 111398

Thank you.

James

Hmmm...spoke to soon about that. I had a feeling I should try it again, and it's working again! Looks very different but works as good as it did before. Now I have to find out all the places where it's timing out. lol

Regardless, it is recommend to use Zend Server 9.1 which is the official LTS version for PHP 7.

Thanks!
