MySQL does not start (ERROR! Manager of pid-file quit..)

OS X Lion 10.7.2
Zend Server CE 5.6

# sudo zendctl restart

WARNING: Before running the mysql_install_db make sure /etc/my.cnf datadir points to the correct location of your data files, which is probably /usr/local/zend/mysql/data but may also be /usr/local/zend/mysql/data/mysql

Hi David

Clean install seems to be free of the MySQL PID / work dir owner issue in our local test.

Did you upgrade to OS X 10.7.2 or to Zend Server CE 5.6 before getting this issue?
