Zend Optimizer needed

Hello,

today I try to install PHP Software what needs the Zend Optimizer on my Server where is running Ubuntu and PHP 5.3.1.
So my question will be if it will be neccessary to install a Zend Server (because only found that) or if there is also a package what I can download and install what only includes the Zend Optimizer?

For php 5.3 you need Zend Guard Loader which can be downloaded here: http://www.zend.com/en/products/guard/downloads. ALso, the files you are running must be specifically encoded for php 5.3. Old 5.2 encoded files will not run in 5.3/Loader.
