Broken Syntax Highlighting Build ID: 20121008

Hello all...

I've seen various posts regarding broken syntax highlighting but nothing recent or specifically related to my exact scenario. Also, I didn't see any satisfactory answers to exactly how this could be fixed.

Basically whenever I mix HTML and PHP together I get random assortment of broken syntax highlighting. I've attached a screenshot to illustrate the issue. If anyone has some advice on how to either fix or work around the issue I'd appreciate it. Sometimes I can get it back by adding in a comment and then deleting one but that has been getting very tedious as of late.
