Debugger steps don't match the code

Hello,

I'm using the trial of Zend Studio 9 and I have a problem when I try to debug a website.
The debugger stops, but when I step through the code Zend Studio steps to wrong lines.

I took a screenshot and marked the steps the debugger goes.

I'm using XAMPP on Windows with php 5.2 as module.
I also tried xdebug but the problem is the same.

If the problem can't be solved than Zend Studio is useless for me.

It seems that Zend Studio don't recognizes the comments :-(

When I remove the comment the steps suite to the code ...

It seems that Zend Studio can't handle comments with # or //
When I use /* .... */ than the debugger gets the correct lines.

I did some tests (never used the # to comment lines before) but it's working fine over here (ZS 9.04). Using // and /* ... */ has never been a problem in any setup here.

It might help if you could add some more details. Which debug module are you using?

I tried ZendStudioTS and xDebug.

Maybe it's a Windows only problem.
I wanted to try if it is the same when I run the Webserver under linux, but I don't had time to set one up yet.

I think I found the problem.

I created the files using Notepad++, I don't know why but the EndOfLine encoding was set to Mac-Style.
I changed it to Windows and now the debugger gets the right line of code ;-)
