Static variable values in "Variables" view during debugging.

Does anyone know if it is possible to view the values of static class members during a debugging session?

And if yes, of course, my next question is "how?" :)

I should state that I mean beyond possibilities like using the Reflection class to populate an object with that data. ;)

Can I suggest though that this known issue be mentioned more prominently somewhere? This caused me a lot of confusion and head ache trying to figure out.

I'm wondering if some of my other frustrations are the result of "known issues," but I'll leave that for other forum posts as they come up again. :)
