Post by stij2324 » Fri Jun 10, 2016 8:30 pm

Hello

I have a project where i use ZF2.
This project is auto deployued on my local zend server by zend studio.
After running the build in composer and updating the dependencies i get a lot of upload error's.
I have to co^py those filles manualy.

Could you tell what are the upload errors exactly?

It would be also helpful if you attach a support file. It can be generated using Help > Support Tool from the main menu.

Could not upload resource.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Zend\ZendServer\data\apps\http\__default__\0\audioSamenvatting\1.0.0_11\vendor\sebastian\exporter\src

I gues that composer is still writing and has aa lock to the file.

Could you attach a support file generated using Help > Support Tool from the main menu? I hope to see some details related to the error.

Thanks for providing the support file!

I see that you have your workspace and project files in a Dropbox folder.

We haven't validated this scenario. I can see tons of different errors on low file system operations like copying and deleting files under the Dropbox folder.

As part of the investigation, I suggest to eliminate Dropbox as a factor. Could you create a new workspace outside of the Dropbox folder and import some of the projects there? Let me know if you still see the problem? If the problem is still there, please attach a new support file.

BTW, I am curious to understand what's the benefit of using Dropbox instead of version control system like Git or SVN? Could you provide any details? This will help us understand better our user requirements.

Hmm seems indeed that the problems has something to do with dropbox sync.
Cayuse when i pause the sync there is no problem any more.

This strange workflow has to do with that i can't do commit that break the working product.
Branching it would be so diffucult because of merge conflicts because the issue take a longer time to finish.
