it's really time for a ZendStudio update after that many months PHP 7.1 is GA

what's the purpose of using a IDE from the company mainly developing the ZendEngine and so has very early access to changes when it take smany months until the IDE can cope with new syntax features?

There will be a new version of Zend Studio with PHP 7.1 support later this month.

Can't wait to try the new version. I hope that you will release it next week as I will have more time to test it. :)

it's annoying that you can't use features like "function test(): ?int" because it breaks the whole IDE and normally i would expect that "the php company" which also is a main-contributor of PHP itself would have teir IDE ready at least from the first RC....

Syntax Error, unexpected ''?'

WTF

http://php.net/manual/de/migration71.new-features.php
Nullable types

Type declarations for parameters and return values can now be marked as nullable by prefixing the type name with a question mark. This signifies that as well as the specified type, NULL can be passed as an argument, or returned as a value, respectively.
<?php

function testReturn(): ?string
{
return 'elePHPant';
}

[harry@srv-rhsoft:~]$ php -l /www/thelounge.net/contentlounge/updateservice/package/autotest.php
No syntax errors detected in /www/thelounge.net/contentlounge/updateservice/package/autotest.php

i go puke...

Hi,
Did you change PHP interpreter to PHP 7.1? You can do this by clicking on project context menu Properties -> PHP -> Interpreter.
