[Request] Bug tracker

Post by strgt » Thu May 18, 2017 11:06 pm

We are all sofware developers, and Zend is a software development company for software developers and it's imposible to think there is no bug tracker for Zend Studio / PDT. It feels very obscure and makes (ex) Zend look very hard to trust. Most of the errors reported here have no conclusion.

Also, this forum should notify users when they get replies in their threads. Onece the question is posted, it's stays there inactive because no notification is sent to anyone.

The current state of affairs is like this.

Eclipse PDT is an open source project and a core component of Zend Studio. It has Bugzilla as a bug tracking system. Links for reporting new bugs or viewing existing ones can be found here: https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/t ... /developer

Zend Studio as a commercial product has two levels of support, depending on the license:
- via Support Ticket with SLA.
- via this forum without SLA. The forums is supposed to be a channel for community help where answers are not given only by Zend employees.

There is no plan to establish a public bug tracking system for Zend Studio.

I will check with our IT about the mail notifications in the forums.
