How to enable php features in ZSE (for mac)

Post by michelangelovandam » Sat Mar 28, 2009 7:35 pm

Hi,

I've spend too much time now looking for a solution on how to enable bundled features in the php component that's build in ZSE. Simply put, I need the following --enable-zip and --enable-soap in the bundled php for ZSE.

Can anyone point me in the right direction here ?

PS: why does the windows version for ZSE comes with a zip enabled php and mac not ?

The bundled PHP that supplied with Zend Studio compiled using the minimum set of functions (extensions).
However, its absolutely possible to use another PHP executable and php.ini for that executable. You can install your own PHP on your Mac and use it in Zend Studio.
We recommend Zend CE for Mac for this purpose.
