Zend Studio doesn't work!

Post by readesgs » Tue Feb 23, 2010 10:02 am

I'm trialling ZS to see how good it is, I've selected a working project that works absolutely fine on my PHP 5.3.1 server with E_ALL defined.

However ZS says every PHP function, such as sprintf, date, imagejpeg, etc, is undefined!

Can anyone tell me why the debugger doesn't recognise any PHP function please?

I imported it as a PHP Project.

When I right-click the project and click Configure, the "Add PHP Support" option is greyed out.

Another thing is all the "warnings" it's highlighted, only 100 of 1800 appear in the Problems list.

Obviously something went completely wrong with importing / setting up your project. To be able to help you we'll need more info on what you did exactly when setting up your project.

The warning-list is limited to 100 by default. Listing 1800 items in a grid will unnecessarily slow down the entire IDE. When there are 100+ warnings, something else is most likely going wrong ;)

(PS. Not saying it's your fault ;) Zend Studio has a vast array of features and it's easy to do something in a different way then what's intended. Most of the time it'll work, but sometimes it completely breaks down.)

Judging by the problem description, this Knowledge Base article may help:
