Zend Studio Team produced fixes to address two issues:
1. Upgrading Zend Studio 9 on MacOSX breaks the application with message:
"The Zend Studio executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library."
2. Debug plugin error reported as:
“An internal error occurred during: "".
org/eclipse/php/internal/debug/core/PHPDebugPlugin”
Or
“An error has occurred. See error log for more details.
org/eclipse/php/internal/debug/core/preferences/PHPProjectPreferences”
Update 9.0.3.v20120628449 will be available within two days.
Important notes for MacOSX users:
1. During the update files:
a. Zend Studio.app/Contents/Info.plist
b. Zend Studio.app/Contents/MacOS/ZendStudio.ini
will be overwritten. Any added custom entries (i.e. increased Java heap size) will be lost. Please reapply your custom changes after the update.
2. After installing the update, Studio will ask to restart itself (as usual). The first launch after automatic restart may fail with message "The Zend Studio executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library." Starting Studio again will be successful though. It’s recommended to choose “Not Now” instead of “Restart Now” and then manually close and reopen Studio. After manually starting Studio this issue will be permanently fixed.
We apologize for those inconveniences.
Zend Studio Team
