Problem setting up Zend standalone debugger on Os X

Post by hansbr » Fri Aug 24, 2012 1:38 pm

Hello,
I am running OS X 10.7.4 with MAMP PHP Version 5.3.6. For evaluation purposes I tried to install the Zend debugger. I see the shared object file is loaded, because phpinfo includes this output:

Code: Select all

Zend DebuggerPassive Mode Timeout 20 seconds
Connector PID 9787

Directive	Local Value	Master Value
zend_debugger.allow_hosts	127.0.0.1,192.168.2.102,192.168.2.40	127.0.0.1,192.168.2.102,192.168.2.40
zend_debugger.allow_tunnel	no value	no value
zend_debugger.deny_hosts	no value	no value
zend_debugger.expose_remotely	always	always
zend_debugger.httpd_uid	-1	-1
zend_debugger.max_msg_size	2097152	2097152
zend_debugger.tunnel_max_port	65535	65535
zend_debugger.tunnel_min_port	1024	1024
When I try to set up Zend studio I always get:
"A timeout appeared when the debug server attempted to connect to the following client host/IPs:
127.0.0.1
192.168.2.40
192.168.2.102"

The dummy.php is at the right place.

What am I doing wrong?

I have set up the debugger in Zend studio. I get the above message when I click on "Test Debugger".
Server side configuration is set according to the documentation and howtos I found.

Do I need the firefox toolbar for this? I try to debug inside Zend studio on a local running Apache server. Where does an external browser come in here?
