Facebook XHP extension support?

Post by marchodgins » Mon Nov 08, 2010 2:32 am

Hello, does Zend Studio support the Facebook XHP extension? I should be able to write the following code without it being flagged as a syntax error (this code is valid syntax with the XHP extension enabled):

Code: Select all

$foo = 'bar';

echo <div>bar</div>;

echo <div>

echo <div>{$foo}</div>

echo <div>{substr($foo, 0, 1)}</div>

Running this code with the XHP extension enabled (see here https://github.com/facebook/xhp) in the php.ini runs perfectly fine. However Zend Studio by default flags these as syntax errors. Is syntax being verified by a PHP executable and if so, how do I enable the XHP extension on the syntax checker so it doesn't flag it as a syntax error?

Dear all Zend'ers
I am facing the same problem. Does anyone have a solution or a hint?

Looks like you have to build your own php exe and then tell studio in the config to use it
