Connecting to database error: TCP/IP error -5

Post by kgfries » Tue May 05, 2009 5:22 pm

I have numerous scripts in place all of which were working fine until this morning I now get this error when any of them try to connect using the following:

$conn = i5_connect("127.0.0.1", "User", "userpw", array(i5_OPTIONS_IDLE_TIMEOUT=>120));
if (!$conn)
{
echo "Database Connection error: ";
die(i5_errormsg());
}

The output when it dies is: Database Connection error: TCP/IP error -5

I have checked my user profile and nothing has changed. I did not update or make any changes to any of the scripts either. Restarted ZC and still getting the same error within all my scripts when using something similar to the i5_connect above. Any help on what the "TCP/IP error -5" means or where to start looking ? Thanks in advance!

Ok, my fault. I did not check the login user close enough. The password was set to expire today o.O
