BUG: zero length CLOB killing server

Post by astagl » Thu May 20, 2010 8:22 pm

Code: Select all

	$conn = db2_connect("*LOCAL", $_SERVER['PHP_AUTH_USER'], $_SERVER['PHP_AUTH_PW'])
		or die("Connection Failed ".db2_conn_errormsg());

	$sql = "SELECT CAST('' AS CLOB) FROM SYSIBM.SYSDUMMY1";

	$stmt = db2_prepare($conn, $sql) or die("Prepare failed: ".db2_stmt_errormsg());
	db2_execute($stmt) or die("Execute falied: ".db2_stmt_errormsg());

	// dies here
	$row = db2_fetch_array($stmt);
	echo $row[0];

	db2_close($conn);
Proxy error -
The proxy server received a response from an upstream server that is not valid.
The proxy could not handle the request for GET /test.php
Reason: Error occurred reading data from remote server (127.0.0.1).

If I return text in that CLOB, no error.

I recalled hearing that this bug was fixed, so I looked at the ibm_db2 PECL site.

http://pecl.php.net/package-changelog.p ... ge=ibm_db2

According to the PECL site, the zero-length CLOB bug seems to have been fixed in ibm_db2 1.8.4. Is this version available with Zend Server?
