error_log

my file is 49mb.

\usr\local\Zend\apache2\logs\error_log

Can I delete it at any time? Does it simply get create again

whats the best way to control it?

I read another post, but not enough details.

Yes you can just delete it and it will recreate, not the best solution but it does work!

You need to set up your server to manage the logs, "LogMaint logs/access_log 7 0" for every configuration file you are creating logs within. This should remove any logs called logs/access_log in your server directory after they are 7 days old.
Our server logs are created by
CustomLog logs/access_log combined

Just change the settings to meet your requirements. Sorry I do not know how you have set up the logs in your configuration and I do not have zend installed on the IBM i anymore...
