Postby jvaught on Fri Dec 14, 2012 5:04 pm

Hi,

I have load Zend Server for IBM i. I can see the server in the IBM HTTP Server Admin GUI.

I can start and Stop the server there and using the green screen menus.

I can not open the ZendServer webpage.

What have I missed?

Thanks

Hi Joe

Which URL are you using to access ZendServer webpage? Which error message(s) do you get?

Hi Erich,

I'm using http://192.168.2.10:10088.

The message I get in the browser is: "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 192.168.2.10:10088."

Over the weekend I uninstalled the package using the UnInstall instructions and then reinstalled using QSECOFR and the Interactive process.

I'm still getting the same message.

Thanks for your time and help!

Hi Erich,

I'm getting an error in the ZendSvr Server General Configuration page of the IBM HTTP Sever Administration page.
The Error: An unselected table row contains an error. Select the row in error.

The first row contains /usr/local/zendsvr/etc/sites.d/globals-*.conf
The Second row contains /usr/local/zendsvr/etc/sites.d/vhost_*.conf

These were loaded by the install process.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Joe,

Comment these two rows, actually you don't need them.

Hi Erich,

Thanks for the reply. I must have something set wrong.

I've talked to Roy at Zend and he has suggested that I open a support ticket.

Sorry to be so long replying with the holidays and end of year this has been a low priority.

Have a great day!

Start Zend Server manually with verbosed trace level. This way the Apache will generate Apache trace/log file in QTMHHTTP spooler. The spooled file will include exact error why Apache could not start. Here is the command: STRTCPVR SERVER(*HTTP) HTTPSVR(ZENDSVR -vv). Then use spooled file command to view the Apache log: WRKSPLF QTMHHTTP
