Zendserver stops working

Post by thomasmatthes » Mon Feb 02, 2015 1:40 pm

From time to time our homepage is no longer available while the Zendserver-Jobs are still running. After stopping and restarting the Zend Server Subsystem the website is available again.
I checked the logs, but i don't know what exactly I should look for.

In the zsd-logfile I found:;

The last errormessage was repeated so Long until the server restarts.
Can this may be the reason for the Zendserver Problems?

It looks like a directory or a file in Zend Server directory /usr/local/zendsvr6 was removed or renamed. One option is to restore the Zend Server directory from backups. Another option is to upgrade Zend Server (apply PTF) to latest version 8.0.1. The upgrade does not change any configuration files so it is safe to get latest Zend Server modules and PHP version.

i compared the directories from the live-server with the directories from the backup-server. The directrories are identical.

I would suggest to upgrade your current Zend Server version to latest version.

we now upgraded to Version 7 (not 8, because PHP 5.4 is needed). The issue is still existing.
While we have a frozen Zendserver the Requests Per Second are 0, the Avg. Response Time is 0, Active Users are 0. Some minutes later the Zendserver works fine again.
