Error occurred in SQL Call Level Interface

Postby kerr3269 on Fri May 15, 2015 1:26 pm

Greetings,

In subsystem QHTTPSVR for jobs ZENDSVR6/QTMHHTTP I am seeing errors on every single SQL statement call made using IBM_DB2.

This has recently started, but I'm not sure when. Even with this warning, all SQL statements are being executed fine.

PHP Version 5.6.5
Zend Server Version: 8.0.2
IBM_DB2 Module release 1.9.6-sg25

If anyone could help clue me in on what could be causing this, I would appreciate it.

The error:

At first glance it looks to me like a data type mismatch in a prepared statement. Try to make sure your parameters match the field types.

Check with Zend support to see if your situation matches a possible fix.

Hi Kerry

We are getting the same error after upgrading our OS to 7.1

Did you manage to resolve this issue?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Kerry

SOLVED!

This was a DB2 error, running a RCLSTG fixed the problem on our box.

Hope this helps

We are seeing the same error, almost continually, in the ZENDSVR6/QTMHHTTP jobs running in sbs QHTTPSVR, except the error code is 10 -- Function sequence error.
IBM i 7.1 Zend Server 8.0.2.

How did you ever determine where the error is? I cannot seem to find any detail to point to where the problem is occurring.

Hello - We are getting the exact same error - error code 10 - Function sequence error. Did you ever find out what the problem was?

Help!

When doing an SQL insert, update, or delete on an IBM i table, I get the error below. I am using PHP Data Object (PDO) functions to perform the task.

SQL99999. Error occurred in SQL Call Level Interface.

Cause . . . . . : A procedure call encountered an error. The error code is 10. Error codes are:
1 -- Memory allocation failure.
2 -- Column number not valid.
3 -- Program type out of range.
4 -- SQL data type out of range.
8 -- Operation canceled.
9 -- Argument value not valid.
10 -- Function sequence error.
12 -- Transaction operation state not valid.
13 -- Memory management problem.
14 -- Maximum number of handles allocated.
15 -- No cursor name available.
16 -- Handle type for operation not valid.
17 -- Connection no longer available.
21 -- Descriptor or descriptor information not valid.
90 -- String or buffer length not valid.
93 -- Parameter number not valid.
94 -- Scale value not valid.
103 -- Direction option out of range.
104 -- Precision value not valid.
105 -- Parameter type not valid.
110 -- Driver completion that is not valid.

Recovery . . . : Refer to the DB2 for i SQL Call Level Interface (ODBC) topic collection in the Database category in the IBM i Information Center book for a complete description of the error. Specifically, look at the procedure that sent the error.
