Enabeling cUrl breaks server

Post by mich9530 » Thu Jun 16, 2016 9:16 pm

I enabled cUrl on the zend server admin app on the Configurations>>PHP page. I restarted the the server and now it will not start. I looked to see where I can turn off cURL but unable to find the right file. I am assuming the zend_extension_manager handles this. Is there a plain text configurations file for this? If so where is it and how should I fix it?

depending on Zend Server version, config files are in /usr/local/zendsvr?/etc/conf.d. Each extension has its own file e.g. curl.ini. Just put a semicolon at the beginning of the line "extension=curl.so".

If you have some rpm packages installed in /opt/freeware, it is possible that they conflict with dependencies of curl.so. In this case the extension cannot be loaded and server does not start. You should find error logs in /www/zendsvr?/logs.
