Hi all

did anyone already migrate from MySql 5.1 to mariaDB 10.1?
If yes what steps are really needed?

I tried to search in mariaDB forum, but there most say the upgrade should be done in 2 steps. First to mariaDB 5.5 and then to mariaDB 10. But as we don't have any mariaDB 5.5 this is of course not possible.

regards and thank

Hello Silvan
There is plenty of information on the web, basically its MySQL 5.1 schema upgrade to MySQL 5.7.
You can test the SQL which creates the tables first, and try your application tests on it, before migrating real world data between old and new DB engines.
