How to prevent Zend Deployment Daemon from automatically starting?

I opened a ticket with Zend because of "MCH" error codes being generated by the Zend Deployment Daemon. We never got to the bottom of it, but since I don't use the Zend Deployment features of Zend Server, they instructed me to just turn it off. The errors stopped, but now I have to remember to manually turn it off each time Zend Server is restarted.

Is there a way to prevent the Zend Deployment Daemon from automatically starting with each Zend Server restart? Or do I have to script a command to shut it down into QSTRUP or something like that? If I have to use QSTRUP, what command would I use to shut it down? I only know how to do it from the menu in green screen.

You should be able to stop the job starting each time by using the Autostart Job Settings menu.

This is achieved from the Zend Server Set-up Menu (ZSMENU) then choose option 10 "Autostart Job Settings". Then from the ZSAUTOJOBU menu put a N in the 'Deployment daemon' option.

The next start of Zend the job will not be submitted.
