We currently run MySQL 5.1 with the ibmdb2i driver. I have a few questions about MariaDB.

1. Has the ibmdb2i driver been released?

2. Does the trick to get existing db2 table to show up in MySQL still work? This was originally published on the young i professionals website that seems to be down now. I know thats not a lot of info to go on but maybe someone knows what I'm talking about.

3. There was a bug in existing db2 tables where the mysql cache would not recognize when db2 updated a table. This caused us to disable mysql cache all together. Does anyone now if this has been addressed?

4. Does anyone have a good story about upgrading from MySQL 5.1 to the new MariaDB and something good happend? (it was really fast, it fixed a bug...)
