Zend Monitor UI is disabled in CLI/CGI run...

Post by dalejanus » Wed May 25, 2011 8:33 pm

I am using Zend Server Community Edition and have created a php program that is called from CL using qp2shell. I am getting the following error printed to qprint every time the program is run:
Zend Monitor UI is disabled in CLI/CGI run...

I have tried turning off Zend Monitor in the Zend Server configuration page and am still getting the error.

How can I prevent this error?

We changed our cl program from qp2shell to qshell and added environment variables to monitor for errors. This stopped the printing of logs, but now the error message appears on the screen. Press enter and it continues ok.

More checking revealed users with *allobj authority (me) got no error message on the screen. This led us to search for permissions and we discovered our log file did not have public write authority. Once we changed that, the errors are now going to the log file and the program does not stop.

Unfortunately, we cannot read what is being put into the log file. I suspect ascii/ebcidc issues.
