5250 Emulator error

Post by shane_ingram » Mon Sep 24, 2012 7:45 pm

I am currently pulling out what little hair i have left on my head over this one...

I am trying to enable the Zend 5250 emulator for a few of our developers so they can remotely deal with issues even if they are not able to access their VPN enabled computers. When i proceed to the login page, everythign looks fine, I am able to enter login credentials, but as soon as I try to login, i get a TCP/IP error.

Code: Select all

An error occured during 5250 bridge request:
TCP/IP error 32

To try again please click here
object(Zend_5250_Exception)#39 (7) {
  ["message":protected]=>
  string(15) "TCP/IP error 32"
  ["string":"Exception":private]=>
  string(0) ""

  ["line":protected]=>

      ["type"]=>

        [0]=>

        [1]=>
        string(7) "user"
        [2]=>
        string(9) "pass"
        [3]=>
        array(3) {
          [6]=>
          string(7) "ZENDSVR"
          [21]=>
          string(5) "00037"
          [17]=>
          string(3) "819"
        }
      }
    }
I have searched in the forums with little luck, I am searching the manual a second time. I'm sure it's a configuration issue, but with this being a production environment, I and proceeding with caution. Any Ideas where i should be looking?

This issue is somewhat like : viewtopic.php?f=77&t=85238

Verify that you have the following jobs running in subsystem ZENDSVR:

ZENDSVR QSYS SBS .0 DEQW
I5_COMD QTCP BCH .0 PGM-EASYCOMD TIMW
PHPJOB QTMHHTTP BCH .0 PGM-EASYCOM TIMW
ZBRDG5250 QTMHHTTP BCH .0 PGM-ZWFMAIN01R DEQW
ZSJAVA_BRG QTMHHTTP BCI .0 PGM-watchdog THDW
ZSJAVA_BRG QTMHHTTP BCI .0 JVM-com.zend.j SELW
ZSJOBQMNG QTMHHTTP BCI .0 PGM-watchdog THDW
ZSJOBQMNG QTMHHTTP BCI .0 PGM-jqd SELW
ZSMONMNG QTMHHTTP BCI .0 PGM-watchdog THDW
ZSMONMNG QTMHHTTP BCI .0 PGM-MonitorNod SELW

verify that job ZBRDG5250 is running and has no msg wait. Zend will have to inform you if job ZBRDG5250 is the correct job, etc.
