Cluster deploy applications

Post by os_andrew » Mon Oct 22, 2012 9:34 am

Hi Zend!

I have problem. I have two nodes in cluster (debian, ubuntu). When I deploy applications, cluster don`t send signal to restart apache on debian. What should I check?
Ubuntu everything is fine
P.S. sorry for my English :)

Hi Andrew,

I assume that the GUI of the cluster manager is not reporting errors from the Debian server that would suggest some form of connectivity problem. The first thing that I would check is the status screen of the deployed application (click on its name in the applications screen). The application should report that it is deployed on all cluster nodes. Then I would check that I can manually restart the Apache using the button in the Cluster Management screen of the GUI. If this restart is successful, then there should be no problem during deployment. After that I would look at the deployment log in /usr/local/zend/var/log on all three servers to see if any messages hint at a problem. Finally I would look at all other log files that have been updated recently.

I hope this helps...

Eric Ritchie.

PS: No need to apologise for your English. It seems fine to me ;)
