This happens to me, too on my Mac. I updated ZemdDebugger.so and set ulimit 4096 and I got over the warnings / errors but now I cannot achieve breakpoints deep in my project. It's worth noting, I don't have "debug first page only" set.

Any help would be appreciated.

I also have this problem.

Just bought the new Macbook Pro, which comes with Mavericks pre-installed.

I'm using Zend Studio 10.1 (latest version) + tried Zend Server CE 6.1 with PHP5.4 and PHP5.3 (tried both).
This issue keeps happening, regardless of PHP version.

I will switch back to my old mac, because this is a total blocker.

On my old Mac I have Zend Server 5.6 installed with PHP 5.3. This seams to work fine.

Increasing the ulimit is not a real solution. On my old mac is it also the default (256) and never had any issues with it.

Downgrading to Zend Server CE 5.6 with PHP 5.3 seams to work on Mavericks.
I had to run the uninstall script to properly remove Zend Server 6.1, otherwise I was not able to install the older version.

The decisions given above are supreb for dealing with this issue! Anyway, I suggest you to visit one tool that I've recently created and which is called final grade calculator.
