How to completly disable JavaBridge

Post by vaa03 » Mon Dec 02, 2013 10:21 am

how can i completly disable JavaBridge components in Zend Server 6?
Component's page show me that JavaBridge is unsupported in this version BUT daemon and extension are still running.
I'm using the basic edition of the product.

Thank you.

Which OS are you referring to?

On Linux, you must install an additional package for JAVA Bridge, which you can also remove - 'php-5.[3/4]-java-bridge-zend-server'.

On Linux and Mac, JB module can be disabled, or you can simply remove the extension manager dir line from '/usr/local/zend/etc/conf.d/jbridge.ini' and restart PHP (you will need to apply the change in the GUI if conflicting saved configuration).

Daemon can be stopped with stop-jb,
and to prevent it from coming up in start and boot, Remove the symlink '/usr/local/zend/etc/rc.d/S07jb'.

Let me know if this helps.
