Mac OS server control app

Postby nicklevett on Sun Mar 15, 2009 12:58 pm

Because I dislike typing commands in the terminal I decided to make a little AppleScript app that will start and stop ZendServer CE. Also I don't like things starting up all the time if I'm not going to use it - maybe this could be an option in a ZendServer pref pane?

Anyway so I wrote this simple app and it should be attached. It can go anywhere as long as ZendServer is in /Applications/ZendServer. It will prompt for your password to start and stop.
p.s. You will get the php processes left over when you stop.

Hopefully you will find it useful!

We will hava the GUI tools at some point in future. Currently our attention is on the main stack, main goal is to make PHP run as smooth as possible with all the popular extensions.

I've updated the simple control app to reflect the path change in 4.0.1. I hope you find it useful.

I bought a Mac Mini with Sierra, simply to act as a small office file server. Easy enough to setup, but I cannot consistently get our mix of Windows 7 and 10 and Macs 10.7.5, 10.10, and 10.11 to connect to it in a consistent manner. I am sad. :( Thanks.
