Zend Monitor issues

Post by apikulik » Tue Feb 10, 2009 7:52 am

1. "Show File in Zend Studio" feature doesn't work
When I click that button while inspecting the same event in monitor it will produce either communication error message or success message but in both cases there is nothing happens in Zend Studio. I have Zend Studio for Eclipse - 6.1.0 Build ID: 20080907
Here are screen shots of what was happened when I clicked that button:

Btw debugging and profiling works perfect.

I didn't change anything since I've reported above issue, but...
I've clicked "Show File in Zend Studio" again right now and... Oh miracle!!! File has opened in Zend Studio successfully!

Playing with that button I've noticed that if you hit the button when you've already opened same file in Zend Studio via Monitor GUI, you will get "Failed to communicate with Zend Studio" error. But if you close that file in Studio and click "Show File in Zend Studio" again, it will be opened successfully.

Anyway can you suggest what was happened in my previous post? I assure you that there was none of opened files in Zend Studio when I clicked "Show File in Zend Studio" button.

Hi,
This issue is indeed known and we are verifying and trying to pinpoint the exact problem.
There is nothing to assist with the first input you made.
I can only say that trying it again will work.

BTW - you can update to Studio 6.1.1 using your Zend update site.

I will see if we can speed up the work on this issue.

Regards,
Gadi
