PECL install on IBM i

Attempting to install the ssh2 PECL on Zendsvr 5.6 on and IBM i.

I start qshell
execute "cd /usr/local/zendsvr/bin",
then "/usr/local/zendsvr/bin/pecl install ssh2-0.11.3"

and keep getting the error "0403-006 Execute permission denied." The user I'm using has full authority to the folder it indicates.

Ideas on where the problem may be?

Try running ti from PASE shell (CALL QP2TERM) not from QShell. The difference is that PASE shell uses ASCII while QShell uses EBCDIC.

I labelled my first step incorrectly... I was call QP2TERM.

Any other ideas?
